What are the prerequisites for getting into the EMT program?

I’m trying to do the EMT program, but I don’t know what classes I need to take in order to be eligible to enter. I want to assume that the requirements are the same as for the nursing program, but then again I don’t know. So a little push in the right direction would be wonderful.
I have already been accepted into El Centro so El Centro is one, and I’m also looking at HCC (Houston Community College) and at the moment that’s it.
